The Easiest Crock Pot Chicken Tacos You Will EVER Make

Ingredients:

1 medium jar salsa (any type you prefer; I use pace) 

1 packet taco seasoning 

3-4 chicken breasts (2.5-3lbs) 

Optional Toppings:

1 chopped onion 

1 chopped tomato 

Sour Cream

Lettuce 

1 bag of Mexican shredded cheese 

Flour tortillas, corn tortillas, or taco shells 

Directions: 

Turn the crock pot on high and allow it to warm up as you prepare the chicken. Wash and then slice the chicken breasts vertically, this will allow the meat to pull apart more easily in the crock pot. Place the chicken, salsa, and taco seasoning in the crock pot. Check on it occasionally to shred the chicken with a fork. Allow the chicken to cook for 5-6 hours, the longer the better. Prepare the taco toppings however you like. 

Side Note: 

I prefer using small flour tortillas for chicken taco’s. For a little spice you can add some hot sauce to the crock pot (your choice) or even a can of diced jalapeno’s as a potential topping. This recipe is extremely simply and amazingly delicious. It is one of my favorite crock pot recipes because it’s impossible to screw up. I’m sorry I don’t have photos of this recipe but I made it a week before I started this blog.
